Giving an experience

A lot of PF bloggers have been writing about giving experiences instead of things. Since I couldn't think of a thing that my dad would like for Father's Day, I decided to give him an experience. I plan on taking my dad to a movie and then dinner (or lunch depending on the movie time).

Today, I spoke with him on the phone to check that he would be free next weekend. He asked if he could bring my mom (how cute), which I said yes. We'll be meeting half-way in between the city that I live and the city they live. Since there is only a small movie theater (and minimal restaurants), the tickets and meal wouldn't be very expensive. I would be more than happy to pay for the afternoon for both of my parents.

Aw, what a great idea!!

I have no idea what to do for my Dad or my husband (it's his first Father's Day).

This sounds great!
