Working Hard For The Money....
I've been putting in extra hours at my part time job recently. My time sheet for the past two weeks has over ten hours on it! :) I used to work less than ten hours a month. It's nice to see that I'm going to have a solid secondary pay check come in soon...
Right now, my pay checks from my part time job are being deposited into my down payment account. However, when my down payment account reaches $4k (which I hope to do soon), I will start to add the extra income to my emergency fund. My down payment account currently has $3,646.87, so I need to add an additional $353.13 in order to reach my year end goal of $4k.
Since the beginning of the year, I have added $2,148.39 to my down payment account!

That's so great! You'll have your downpayment fund filled for the year before you know it. What's your goal for the emergency fund for the year?
Wow, thats great progress. I hope you feel good about this because I'm feeling a twinge of jealousy girl! lol
Debt Dieter, $3k for the EF. It's going to be difficult with the decreased income.
Dolly Iris, I'm feeling happy about my progress, but I know it's going to come to an end very soon (decreased income in grad school).
