No Spa for me....WAIT!
My friend and I were unable to get an appointment that fit with our schedules at the spa. I'm disappointed, but I'll be able to spend the money on something more productive....like food. I am disappointed that my friend and I won't be able to reminisce about our shared spa experience.
However, my coworkers gave me a gift certificate for a spa in my new city as a going-away present! I think I'll get a massage...and I don't know what else! I'm really excited. I will try to schedule the appointment before my classes start and I get too busy!

That's great! Too bad you won't be able to go to the spa with your friend, but it will be wonderful to go to the spa in a new town and to have a massage will be great for easing the stress of the move. Enjoy! :)

boots586, Unfortunately, the place is pretty expensive, so I won't be able to afford two....just a long one! :)
I'm sorry your friends don't get to come along. But maybe you guys could hold an impromptu spa at one of their houses? There's plenty of affordable facials over the counter or recipes online if you want to be uber-frugal. And foot soaks are easy and soothing. It's not quite the same but hey it's close.
That is such a nice gift from your coworkers! They must really like you a lot!
