I <3 Swagbucks!
I earned another $5 gift certificate through Swagbucks yesterday. I'm working back up to my pre-book order Amazon gift card total!
I also need to think about saving up for my books next semester!
I've had a few readers ask about how I earn my Swagbucks. As far as I can tell, I just earn them when I search. I have changed the search engine in the upper right hand corner of my browser to swagbucks, so I use swagbucks every time I search. I don't think I search for things an abnormal amount, but I don't really have a good answer to how many searches I do per day.

I have redeemed ONE $5 amazon gift card through SB, just from searching. Immediately after redeeming, they seem to have shut off my account, and I haven't seen another swagbuck, despite searching normally every day. Be warned...don't count on the constant flow of SB. :)

I just read at http://www.krystalatwork.com that you may not be able to use as many swagbucks as you want. So have a look if you can really pay for your Ipod with swagbucks only.

Annie, I just checked out Krystal's post too. It's not totally right, so I wrote a new post about it...but I also don't earn enough Swagbucks to get over $25 in gc/month anyway. Thanks for the heads up!
I just started using swagbucks recently, and I can tell you, a great way to pick up some major bucks, is to do the "Special Offers". There is one for Netflix, and I think you get 115 swagbucks. Sign up for a free trial, get your bucks, watch a dvd or 2, and cancel during the trial. Can't beat it!
